Business Development Manager

We’re searching for an experienced Account Manager / Sales Professional with a proven track record of sales achievement, preferably within the IT and Managed Services sector. The ideal candidate will have the skills needed to conduct in-depth conversations around IT, Microsoft 365, Azure cloud and Managed Services with new and existing DuoCall customers. They should also be a strategic thinker, possess entrepreneurial flair and thrive off working in a fast-paced and challenging environment.

Location: Rotherham, South Yorkshire / Wallingford, Oxfordshire

Salary: Basic salary + uncapped commission + benefits package

Roles & responsibilities

  • You will be responsible for establishing new business relationships and nurturing existing customers
  • You will assess our customers’ needs and recommend suitable products and services to them
  • You will provide clear and accurate proposals to customers in line with their needs and requirements
  • You will build and manage a sales funnel
  • You will keep up to date with the latest industry trends and best practices

The ideal candidate will

  • Have experience working in IT or within a related sector
  • Thrive off working in a fast-moving environment
  • Have experience in cloud strategy and transformation project sales
  • Have experience with specific vendors in the industry, such as Microsoft and VMware etc.
  • Possess a proven track record of sales achievement, preferably within a Managed Service environment
  • Possess excellent communication skills and a natural business sense
  • Pay close attention to detail and can think analytically
  • Have a positive attitude and the ability to manage their own time and organise their workload effectively
  • Have robust market knowledge in relation to Microsoft 365, storage, cloud technologies, and managed IT services

The successful applicant will play a key role in our sales process, all the way from lead generation to close. They will gain solution-driven sales experience, providing tailored products and services to meet the ever-evolving needs of our customers.
